The aim of the operational evaluation of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme is to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programme management and implementation and to carry out a first assessment of the Programme's mid-term progress towards the achievement of its objectives. That includes the assessment of programme management structures, programme communication, the programme application and selection process, project monitoring and reimbursement of claims, simplification measures for applicants and beneficiaries, coordination efforts with other programmes, stakeholder involvement and partnership structure, the compliance with horizontal principles and the contribution to EU2020 and relevant macro-regional strategies.
