Object of the contract is the establishment of a set of sustainable development indicators in Algeria. The country is a leading producer of hydrocarbons (especially gas), which, while generating substantial income, create major problems in terms of redistribution of wealth and environmental pressures. Against this background, the indicators shall support Algerian authorities in monitoring sustainable development status and trends
