The study aimed at defining the structure of financial implementation reports of programmes to be used by Desk Officers in DG REGIO as an effective system for programme monitoring. The reports contain the coincise data analysis of implementation progress (and related financial outlay) and data visualization in a user-friendly manner (e.g. infographics, plots, tables). 
To achieve that, the study required the elaboration of a series of data quality checks algorithms, ensuring the validity of the data submitted by programmes and producing consistent summary results presented in the report. The final report encompassed tables, charts and infographics of past results, as well as trend and forecast of the expected programmes progression, in addition to a list of common errors and risks identified during the process. Furthermore, proposed solutions and recommendations on the structure of the report and possible IT solutions conclude the study.
